Games Scheduled for May 17 & 18 in Watertown:  Click here for a complete schedule of U10 through U19 games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 17 & 18.  The local U10G games originally scheduled for Saturday, May 17 have been re-scheduled for Thursday, May 22.  (Posted:  5/10/08)

Kiwanis Tournament Cancelled:  Due to insufficient entries, the Kiwanis Tournament for U12 and U14 teams scheduled for May 10 has been cancelled.  (Posted:  5/8/08)

Soccer Games for Saturday, April 26 Postponed:  Because of the snow storm, all soccer games scheduled for Saturday, April 26 are postponed to Saturday, May 24.  Because that is Memorial Day weekend, those games will be optional.  If your team prefers not to play on that day, please notify the Executive Director and the coach of the other team as soon as possible.  We may be able to schedule the games on a Monday night instead.

A Big Thank You:  The following individuals helped put up goals and nets on Wednesday so the fields would be ready for Thursday’s games:  Chuck Langner, Roland Niewoehner, Bruce Johnson, Jorge Gallardo, Luis Reyes, Grant Hoftiezer, Elias Anariba, Jacob Carter, Joshua Carter, and Chris Carter.

New Board Members:  Milt Carter was re-elected to a second three year term on the WYSA Board.  LuAnn Strait was elected to her first three year term on the WYSA Board.  See “WYSA Board” page for a list of other board members.  (Posted 2/28/08)

Soccer Equipment Needed:  If you have good used soccer equipment (shoes, shin guards, socks, goalie gloves, balls, etc.) that you no longer need, consider donating them to WYSA.  We frequently have players that need equipment, as they grow out of their existing equipment.  Contact the Executive Director or bring to the Anza Soccer Complex.  (Posted:  4/22/07)
